The UFUA Aviation Branch 25 Year Membership Medal recognises long and reliable membership, and a sustained commitment to the Union and its objectives. It acknowledges members who have consistently supported collective representation over many years.
Inception
The 25 Year Membership Medal was introduced by resolution of the Branch Committee of Management on 17 October 2021:
“That the Aviation Branch recognise members who have accrued 25 years of continuous membership by awarding them with the UFUA Aviation Branch 25 years membership medal and ribbon.”
The Branch Committee of Management may determine, at its discretion, that the award is withheld, or if already awarded, withdrawn.
How it is Awarded
The Branch Committee of Management may, by resolution, award the 25 Year Membership Medal to:
Any financial member in good standing who has attained 25 years or more continuous membership with the UFUA Aviation Branch.
The Branch Committee of Management may determine, at its discretion, that the award is withheld, or if already awarded, withdrawn.
